Tips to Maintain Your ProZip Hoverboard

Like with all electronic items, it is important to take care of your products in order to get the most out of them. This is no different with hoverboards! Although all of our Hoverboards are extremely hardy, misuse and now maintenance will mean that you won’t get the full use out of your board.

Here are some suggestions on how to keep your Hoverboard in top condition!

1. Cleaning

We know everyone hates cleaning… but, cleaning your hoverboard doesn’t have to be a chore! Simply wipe down the outer casing with a wet wipe and you’re good to go!

When cleaning the wheels, use a soft brush to remove debris. Making sure your wheels are dust and debris free is important. As you will see when you look at your hoverboard, the wheels run inside the casing. Therefore, leaving your wheels with dirt on may cause internal issues with your board. Better to be safe than sorry!

2. Storage

What?! You don’t use your ProZip ALL the time? When you want to take a break, or even hide your self-balancing scooter from your younger siblings, make sure you are doing this properly.

Store your hoverboard somewhere dry. If your hoverboard is in an outer-building or a garage, somewhere that might be damp – this may damage your board. Also, you need to be aware of dust. If your hoverboard has sat too long and gathered dust, this could also affect its performance.

Don’t let you board gather dust – take it for a ride regularly! 

3. Keeping it look Fresh!

If you’re using your ProZip Hoverboard all the time, it is bound to get scratched. If you want to keep you ProZip Hoverboard looking perfect, we recommend getting a silicone cover. (We recommend these as a necessity with if you are planning ProZip Hoverkart purchases).

4. Been too Rough?!

If you’ve been a little bit rough with your hoverboard and are experiencing issues, don’t worry! As well as our Warranty service, we also repair boards that are broken due to Customer use.
